Our Shiplap Cladding is made from a joinery quality planed timber and treated to User Class 3, meaning this cladding can be used externally. This timber is planed, leaving it with a smooth finish and consistent section sizes. This product is also Kiln Dried meaning it has been heated to ensure it has a low moisture level, resulting in the timber weighing less and having increased strength properties and durability.
Shiplap cladding is often used to make wood sheds or summerhouses, but is also used to for garages, walls, and other external decorative purposes. Shiplap profile timber cladding is most often laid horizontally, this is to allow water to run off the face of the cladding and prevent water from entering the structure.
